Nice to virtually meet you! Here are some things to know about me.

I have enjoyed a 40-year career in business environments ranging from multi-divisional international corporations to small entrepreneurial start-ups.  Corporations have included Anheuser-Busch, Energizer Battery, Inc., and Perdue Farms.  I achieved steady progress in title and responsibility for my talents with strategic business development initiatives involving market segmentation analysis, product pipeline creation, brand portfolio expansion, plus marketing and advertising program formation in a fast-paced, ever-changing competitive marketplace.

Despite my accomplishments, I eventually grew tired of the corporate grind, realizing my hard work was no longer translating to the same level of success and fulfillment.  In 2012, I decided it was time for me to be fully in charge of my career and life.  I became my own boss, opening my own business as a career ownership coach with The Entrepreneur’s Source.

Since then, I’ve focused my energy on helping hundreds of clients achieve their own dream of self sufficiency… truly living life fully on their terms.  We explore small business ownership in areas that inspire them, as a new career path and/or supplement to their current direction.  The objective with all my clients is always the same… helping each come to a point of clarity for optimizing a productive and fulfilling future with their career and life.

Work history.

My career parallels the path of many of my clients… progressive achievement through various industries, ranging from start-up businesses to multidimensional international corporations.

My education focused on marketing, business and communications, essential skills in a career that focused on developing and implementing business strategies across multiple categories and market types. I was exceptionally proud in my ability to develop impactful brand positioning, visual identity, brand communication and product innovation plans that built brand equity for long-term marketplace growth.

  • Energizer… Ascended to brand group director over time.  Was named as one of the “Top 100” marketers in the U.S. by Advertising Age magazine for my award-winning work with the Energizer Bunny advertising campaign
  • Perdue Farms…  Served in a senior marketing capacity, directing the consumer marketing of nearly 550-million pounds in annualized fresh retail poultry sold in supermarkets, mass merchandisers and club stores. P&L responsibility, strategic product direction and market expansion for four retail Chicken business segments, along with the complete retail Turkey business.
  • Anheuser-Busch… Directed the domestic and international snack nut business for the Eagle Snacks division. Managed all brand marketing activities impacting product development, pricing, packaging, promotion and geographic distribution.
  • TBWA/St. Louis, Martin & Williams/Minneapolis, et al… Worked at an account director level for a number of Midwestern advertising agencies, leading advertising development of iconic brands such as Oscar Mayer, Hostess, Motorola and Brown Shoe Company.
